OK... IF you anyone reading the message knows of any good picture or
scan of
the SWAT Kats poster.. please tell me! So I can print it up and send it
to
this poor soul. I know that Matt Weber has a scan and Strike MIGHT have
one
somewhere... It's up to them to let me use it.
I don't have one. It's all Matt.

Sorry I haven't responded earlier, my hard drive died..
I don't have a "scan" of the poster, but I have taken a photograph of it. It
would be really hard to scan it using my scanner since it can only do 8.5" x
14" at a time.
Let me know what you need to print it out & I'll see what I can do..

heh! You'd need a REALLY big scanner to do that!
Actually, the poster can be re-created from
existing elements and stuff... Perhaps someone
might want to try that?

You just need to send the letter only once, buddy. E-mail Chris,
einStein@donau.de. He send me two posters that were designed in 1995.

I was watching "Wrath of Dark Kat" two nights ago, during the mongo pepper
eating contest, you can see a calendar behind Jake. The pepper he eats
BEFORE the big 'ol one, you can see some she-kat doing some sort of pose on
the upper portion of the calendar. And I just caught that, too, after how
many times I've seen it? And I looked up to those guys, too. :D
In "Cry Turmoil", as the two guards take Razor to the airlock, there is an
upper view, Razor's hands are visible. He has no gloves on, but in the next
scene where T-Bone's whispering to him, he has his gloves on. Strange.
Most of you know the fur color switch that happens in "Giant Bacteria" and
in "Dark Side". T-Bone is caramel and Razor is tawny.
Another interesting bit, in "A Bright and Shiny Future", when T-Bone is
being hugged by Callie, Razor hops off the TurboKat's wing and gives a pouty
look. Callie then gives Razor a hug, T-Bone has an annoyed frown, and Razor
gets a squishy facial expression.
"Bride of the Pastmaster", Callista hugs and kisses Razor, T-Bone looks as
though he was saying "Where's mine?". Callista gives T-Bone the same
treatment, and both are happy.
It always amuses about Jake's facial expression in "When Strikes Mutilor",
after Chance dinged the TurboKat. If you have that ep on tape, put it in
slow motion just as Chance is saying "Oops". Jake's expression is what I
call "The Grinch". It's funny! :)

Good ones! I'd caught some of them, but the "Cry, Turmoil!" bit I know I'd
never seen. Gotta watch that again!
Hrm... An additional funny expression, not a blooper:
If you have "Katastrophe" on tape, put it in extreme slow motion when Razor
accidentally cracks T-Bone in the head with the cement machine gun.
T-Bone's frozen look of shock before the thing actually connects or as it
starts to hit his fur (in my opinion, the whole reason it is one of the few
scenes where you see a costumed SWAT Kats sans the mask) is hilarious.

I think it stands for "Megakat City Police Department" That's the only thing
it can stand for I think...They could've just written "Megakat City
Enforcers", but I suppose that will not sound good or something. Could've
been a screw up though, dunno..Anyway I think M.C.P.D stands for that!

My theory is that it's "M. C. P. D." instead of something with Enforcers is
that anyone who notices the detail of the lettering can figure out what the
heck is on the "do not proceed" thingie is.
I mean, if they'd labled it "Do not Cross, M. C. E" what would you think?
Probably that those were the initials of one of the artists or creators.
^_^;
Or, in an even more far-reaching guess... maybe the Enforcers are something
new - something established in the past ten years or so and that tape thing
is left-over from then. It could explain why the Enforcers are having a
little problem working together as a team and why Steele assumes he can just
bump Feral off and take his office immediately. Possibly the Enforcers were
created with the "mega-villains" began showing up... ^_^

heh! You'd need a REALLY big scanner to do that!
Actually, the poster can be re-created from
existing elements and stuff... Perhaps someone
might want to try that?

Me? Oh, CDs, that sort of stuff. Nah, I personally don't really like getting
things. I get satisfaction from giving. :) I give, I don't expect anything
in return. Except my brother. I DO expect things back from him, however. :)
Hope you all know it's better to give than to receive. I gave a LOT more to
my parents than what I got back, part of because I didn't ask for anything.
Heh. Come to think of it, I got my brother nothing. He got me nothing, too.
Matching gifts! Ach! I also got a season (year) pass to Disney World. :D
Going next month, and almost every month, as a matter of fact. ;)
No, my New Beetle wasn't my Christmas present. But I did put my little model
1967 Beetle in it. :) Also got Beetle Adventure Racing for my N64. Loads of
fun.

HEY there is nothing wrong with Betamax except for the fact that most of the
Betamax VCRs aren't Y2K compliant and have shorter tape time. In fact, the
quality is better and , 'Copy Protection' wasn't invented yet , so you can
copy any tape you like and not worry about Copy Protection , for which most
VHS VCRs/DVD Players have today.

The only problem with Betamax is that they are verry difficult to
programm.
However all Betamax VCRs I've seen so far are Y2K. Especially the older
ones.
However if you need a real system use Video 2000. Y2K on all machines,
up to 16 hours running time.
To not make this posting off topic. I've now gotten a CD-Rom Writer and
am therefore able to make digital copies of my SWAT-Kats eppisodes.

This sounds a lot like what us LD fans are saying, now that the
industry has abandoned us in favor of the more marketable DVD.
Time marches on......

Feel free to pass this on to anyone and any list that might be
interested that didn't get it.
Sorry to all the folks that'll get this a couple cazillion times
like me, but it'll save me headaches fielding "what happened"
inquires over the next month or so.
GateKat.net is changing servers.
This will not affect any URLs except for those actually inside
the GateKat's Galleries (what now read http://www.TransFur.com)
but it may cause some strange behavior when the domain is
registered on both servers, despite my best attempts to keep them
up to date, as the old location has about 100 MB that's banned
for content. It is the Galleries that will most likely be
affected.
Now, for the news that will actually make an impact to most
visitors.
The last update planned saw GateKat.net hit the 200 MB mark.
In compiling for the move/ integration I realized that something
like 25-30% of this is duplicates of one kind of another. This
is unacceptable. That duplication is caused by the current
organization/ folder structure.
Because of this, I'm going to basically go to ground (two weeks,
a month, whatever it takes) to fix it. It's going to be drastic
in all likelihood and affect everyone who links to my site by
other than the true main index page. I will notify everyone I
know about that links of the new URLs before I upload the new
version (so if you link to me, it wouldn't be a bad idea to drop
me a note about it). There will be no updates until then.

Well it's a Ricoc one, I haven't gotten it to run under Linux yet. The
smell doesn't seem to be any different to others.

Well, I got a new email address, to go along with my new cable-modem
internet access! whoo-hoo!
Anyway, to make this an on-topic post--
I happened to be watching a bit of Extreme Ghostbusters (don't know which
episode) and on a wall in the background was a picture that looked
remarkably like the blue kat's "head" you see behind the SK titles.
