My cat Nutmeg (male) is totally orange..and sort of look like a older vison of Oliver from Oliver and Complany. He not the type of cat you want to fool with and he gets soo crazy and mad when my dog Daisy starts to get crazy. (By runing around the couch). My other cat Ginger (female) is like a princess. Keeps going on and on and on. So it's just a short-tail. It's dark gray-black, with a white stripe down its nose, that runs down its stomach. Pooky's paws are white, as so is her feet. She has a little bit of brown on her shoulders and legs. This cat will attack a stray pencil on the floor, will sometimes go nuts and run fast for no reason. Also one of the cutest cats in my opinion, especially when she squeaks. Yes, my cat occasionally squeaks. One to many mice? Couldn't be, my cat won't eat salmon or that canned cat food. Well, I must say that all the kitties out there sound soooo cute. I love kitties! KITTY!! I have two my self. One of them is a small caramal colored persian that I named Jake (of course). He is so sweet. When I've been gone all day and come home he will come and jump on my lap, and start purring so loudly. I rescued him from the animal shelter. Poor thing. The pervious owner had neglected to brush him so his fur got so matted that at the shelter they had to shave him literaly to the skin. When I saw him sitting in that cage all locked up and shaking like a leaf, I just couldn't help myself. Now my other cat is a different story. She is a calico with the biggest attitude problem. She is soo jelous of Jake, she will growl, hiss, and even attack him if her walks by. I raised her from a kitten and I have no clue what to do with her now that she won't accept Jake. I named her ShuShu, don't ask, you don't want to know. And then there is my last pet that I _still_ have. Nika, my dog, who is a Boxer. She is really old will probably die soon. She is deaf and going blind, and has a bad bladder problem. Ugh. Lets not go there. Thats it for now. Gotta go. -KittyG _______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________ Subject: [SWATKats_Canon] Digest Number 46 Date: 14 Jul 1999 08:16:53 -0000 From: SWATKats_Canon@onelist.com To: SWATKats_Canon@onelist.com --------------------------- ONElist Sponsor ---------------------------- ONElist: your connection to online communities. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ FAQ/ Rules: http://www.gatekat.net/SWATKats/Annels/Nexus.htm ------------------------------------------------------------------------ There are 3 messages in this issue. Hee. Alright. You guys have all convinced me: I'll babble about my pets too. Those of you not interested, please forgive me and just delete it now. Uhm.. After finishing typing this, It's become almost essay like. Sorry about that. Darn college! :D I have the whole cartoon food chain: a bird, a cat and a dog. The bird is Wingo. She's allowed out of her cage and she likes men. Especially tall men with deep voices. She likes chewing on wiring, books, pictures, food... okay, she just likes chewing a lot. I don't know how many times I've had to turn in a paper and explain that, "My bird ate it." My kitty is named Lucky. We got her because we saw someone throw her from a moving vehicle on the highway (sad? isn't it?) and we rescued her from the highway after several vehicles had passed over her. She's a gorgeous kitty and she has no tail (but if she had one, it'd be nice and poofy, she's not a manx). Her hobbies are: playing tag with people's ankles, playing "tag" with Wingo, eating, sleeping, and hunting voles in the backyard. She's quite the huntress. I can't count the number of 'presents' she's left us on our porch. She even brought us a live chipmunk once (don't worry, we let the poor thing go). Lucky is also the very deffinition of a 'bi-polar' person (er, is that the right word?). One minute she's loving on you and purring as you pet her, then suddenly and without warning she'll growl and attack. I've got a few faint scars on my wrists because of her. I love her anyway. :D We've trained her to ring a little bell we have attached to each main door to be let in and out. Or... she's trained us to open it when she does so. I don't know quite which. I've found myself waking up in the middle of the night to that bell and getting up to let her out. :D Then we have the Irish Springer/Cocker Spaniel: Winston. He's a dumb dog, but he's a good one. He's been trained to do quite a few things such as: lay down when we say 'sit', roll to one side when we say 'lay down' and roll on his back a second when we say 'roll over'. Heh. He has also mastered the concept of ringing the bell to be let out, but to be let back in, he scratches. D'oh. He 'hunts' snakes and has been bitten by quite a few poisonous ones. He's actually warned us about a lot of them and I have to wonder how many snake bites we might have gotten the last few years if it weren't for him. He also really likes 'squeeky toys'. Okay. Now that I've bored you, you can delete this now. ~Klawz PS: For anyone interested, I've majorly updated my art page (http://www.fortunecity.com/victorian/tiffany/134/index1.html). I might make that "blank" spot into a photo gallery where I'll post photos. And if I do so, it'll deffinately include pictures of my pets. :D Yep. Thanks for reading down this far. I appreciate it. :D _______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________ Message: 3 Date: Tue, 13 Jul 1999 13:33:52 -0400 From: "Rudnicki, Edward J [AMSTA-AR-FSA-T]" Subject: SWAT Kats in Godzilla! If we had asked this question two months ago, you would have come up with a completely different list. :P Why not choose music that has a more lasting appeal than "what was that one song by that one guy... I think it was last year or something"? Also, the TV show had a definite hard edge to its music. While Metallica wasn't exactly writing the musical score, it wouldn't have been a stretch for them either. Davis Doi would have had a heart attack if the Bubblegum Princess (Britney Spears) became associated with the show. So if you're going to pick recent hot bands, at least stick with the right genre... Korn, Metallica ("Hero of the Day" comes to mind), Gravity Kills, Orgy, maybe some Limp Bizkit, and some of the new Collective Soul stuff is pretty hard. Pearl Jam probably has a vew viable songs (so, I'm biased toward them.) Sugar Ray USED to be metal- then they sold out and went punky pop. (Is Stabbing Westward still famous?) Nine Inch Nails is perhaps a little too techno for the show- but David Bowie's "I'm Afraid of Americans" is almost perfect. ^_^ I think that a mix of "songs" and "score" would be best though... Prince of Egypt went a little overboard with 3 CDs for one movie, but maybe if we could find some metal-type instrumental music and stick some of those songs on also? I don't know much about that area, though, so maybe one of the other list members could help. (And if anyone suggests Mannheim Steamroller- the answer is no.) I think it was last year or something"? Lasting appeal is good. I'd suggest 'real' soundtracks, not 'hit pick of the week from regular bands'. Not that it's totally bad, but it has the feel of a slapped together mixture of songs that mostly don't do anything for the ambiance of the movie/tv show. Kinda cheap to do that when to get good ambiance usually requires a symphony. Check out the movies that last, and you'll find no 'hot-band' in them. Just very good scores written. But I understand that some people think that any symphonic is music to snore by. ^_^ > > So if you're going to pick recent hot bands, at least stick with the right > genre... Though of course, if SWATKats was to ever resurface in any shape or form, it should be on DVD (or it's successor). That way, a person can change the ambiance music to something else to suit your needs. It could happen! Remember when Bill Gates said "Nobody will ever need more that 640K." Huh? Now we need computers that have over 128MB RAM, screaming CPU's, and bloodthirsty video cards that eat-up games and other stuff. Er, where was I in my rant? Oh yeah, SK. Accuracy of music with the period of production would sound a little more balanced. A bit of the music on the show has a strong 80s flavor. Some songs can be some of the 80s pop hits. Here are some of my ideas for an SK soundrack. Some 90s tunes made after the casting would be ok. I know that most of these song are about love, but the rythyms and tunes would sound appropiate, ok?! I think these can make a suitable SK soundtrack. Nice idea Crash. Unfortunately, it's another one that has been talked to death!! I'm not going to add my 2 cents, I'm sure people can guess. For anyone with any interest, I am compiling some of the songs mentioned in the LAST time this went out into an MP3 playlist and making financial plans for purchasing a CD burner and software. In the meantime, it'll be on my site as MP3s sometime soon. Don't go looking yet, though- stupid site's huge. Chalk up another topic I'm not impressed with. 2 so far: Who likes who who's music is wht/ what music is SK -Kami/Kaze _______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________ Message: 2 Date: Fri, 23 Jul 1999 21:55:46 -0400 From: rodimus@mindspring.com Subject: Okay..new topic then :) Hi All. Just wanted to toss out a new topic and hope it sparks some interest. If it's been done before I apolgize as I am stll somewhat new to the list. If there were to be a Swat Kats: The Movie (either theater released or direct to video) what should the plot be? If you were going to go pay $6.50 a pop to see it, what would make you want to go back again? Would you start in the future with the next generation of SK's and see how a case from the past helps in the future (and in the process seeing what happened to Jake/Chance?) or would you start right where the series left off? My warped and twisted thoughts on the subject-- Open with T-Bone and Razor being thrown in jail by Feral, who has discovered who they are. (he's not an idiot--dense yes, but not stupid). Evil SK clones from (ack..brain fade..can't..remember..episode!) are back and are the real villians, whose allies with Dark Kat. Perhaps two supporting members try to prove the SK's innocence and get caught up in the web of Dark Kat's trechery. T-Bone and Razor break out to save supporting members with Feral in persuit. Supporting members get away, but SK's get taken by DK. Perhaps with Feral. On the airship Dark Kat and evil clones reveal MASTER PLAN (tm) and Feral finally realizes why Jake and Chance do what they do: to save lives. Supporting characters (who are told/knew/discover who TB and R are) enter the hanger and become SK's themselves (my votes: Felina and Callie, of course) and rush off to save the guys. MASTER PLAN (tm) unfolds but is interupted by new SK's. Bad guy Sk's go out and after a harroring battle the gals win and set out to save the guys. Big huge final battle with both SK teams against DK (whose real idenity is FINALLY revealed--maybe Feral's clone from the evil SK universe!!). Maybe..maybe..Feral takes down his clone, realizing that with him the knowledge of the SK's true identity will go with him. Evil looses, but the victory is bittersweet as MKC mourns Feral's loss. Felina becomes Enforcer commander as Callie becomes Mayor (I really hope Manx buys it somehow. Maybe squished by a falling golf cart or something). It ends with Callie and Felina finally admitting how they feel to the guys and vice versa. As they get ready to kiss, an Enforcer bulliten comes out with diaster X happening. Shrugging, the guys hop into the TurboKat and go off as Felina and Callie watch. Then, seconds later, the gals suit up and hope into their jet (from an idea I'm writing currently) and take off as the sun sets in the distance. The end credit music from the show starts up as the screen darkens. At the end of the classic end credits, the screen lights up for a second as the TurboKat comes at the screen dead on (like from Back to the Future part III at the very end) and the new, hyped up SK theme cuts in, done by whoever. Personally, I like James Taylor and Elton John but I don't see them having the SK theme in their abilties. :) But I would suggest Vince DiCola for the theme, since he's a great artist. All the non-vocal stuff on the TransFormers: The Movie soundtrack is his stuff. Humm. Guess that's my though. Whose next :) _______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________ Message: 3 Date: Sat, 24 Jul 1999 02:13:30 GMT From: "Jake Bridges" Subject: Re: Okay..new topic then :) Okay. Parts they should add to a movie if they made one, and by what I've heard from Christian Tremblay, it's VERY possible. The movie starts out, Jake & Chance being Enforcers. It quickly snakes it's way through their short career, then details how they found/built the hangar, the TurboKat and such. Then, it skips ahead in time to where the show left off. They could possibly use some of those ideas from the eps they never made, such as the one with Turmoil, a character barely used. She could play big things in a SWAT Kat movie. It could possibly explore relationships as well, and one of the reasons Callie flirts so much (don't start another topic about it or you die a slow and painful death in a bog). My mind is not really thinking at the moment, that's all I could think of...oooo...pizza's here...::runs off:: Jake _______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________ Message: 4 Date: Fri, 23 Jul 1999 19:22:57 PDT From: "Katareena Perkins" Subject: Re: Okay..new topic then :) >>If there were to be a Swat Kats: The Movie (either theater released >>or >>direct to video) what should the plot be? I'd actually want to see what happened to them before they became SK's more. You know, how they met (as kittens? or in the Enforcers?), a bit of Enforcer training/missions, then them getting kicked out, their reactions to being at the Yard for the rest of their careers... then HOW they became SK's. The show just let you draw your own conclusions, but I'd like to see what THEY (the creators) think. Then how Callie got her com. unit, of course. As a bonus, of course, we'd get a little history on Felina. Ahm. And romance of course. ::le sigh!:: :D Ahm. Sorry, I think I'll run now before I get any more insane. :D Thanks for listening, Klawz, over'n'out. ~Klawz http://www.fortunecity.com/victorian/tiffany/134/index1.html _______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________ Subject: [SWATKats_Canon] Digest Number 52 Date: 25 Jul 1999 07:43:38 -0000 From: SWATKats_Canon@onelist.com To: SWATKats_Canon@onelist.com --------------------------- ONElist Sponsor ---------------------------- You can WIN $100 to Amazon.com by starting a new list at ONElist. http://www.onelist.com Weekly drawing is held each Friday.
