Ok, I'm sure most of you know what a model sheet is. But incase someone doesn't..... A model sheet is simply the instuctions given to the animation artists on how the character looks and how it is to be drawn. Some of the sheets are very technical ( I didn't get these ) but most are simple. I have photocopies of some of Hanna Barbera's model sheets of the Swat Kat Girls! Sorry, I don't have any of the guy's. ( I wasn't interrested ) I've scanned them in at 4bit grey scale at 150dpi. This will make it easy for those who wish to color and alter. I'm doing this to skbpm27a myself. As long as I don't get any complaints, I'll upload 2 a day to the list. Is everybody ok with this? I hope that you'll enjoy them. Since cartoon scripts wouldn't generate much profit they are usually just saved at HB. Lance's unaccepted scripts were technically not HB property, so they made it onto the web- in fact, he was rather glad to see them again- he called them his "lost scripts" ;D. (For those curious- no, Lance did not find them on DJ's Archive site- they were sent to him as it is illegal for him to read SK fan fiction.) I would assume that production sketches and the like are also HB property- but they are much too easy to sneak out (or whatever one does with those things,) so a lot of those make it to places they shouldn't be. ;) >now you're talking! Here's some (untested) code to get to the mailbox. For the swatfiles2 one change the second line. In line 5 you can determine wether you want frames or not. Overall they're great! I'd love to find where the rest of these are! I especially liked the ones of Felina- it was nice to finally see quality orig. drawings of that enforcer! >This is the big zip file -- all the images I haven't seen on the >net yet. I'm going to disagree with you there- I've seen a few of these before. I'll list 'em here: Firstly, and most important to me: Chance_01.gif - this drawing was modified and colored by me, and is not to be distributed. Klawz, please don't put this on your site. (It would look familiar to you, though, of course, because it's on my 'what's new in RPG' page.) Any of those pics that are colored like that, with a green background (transparent on a webpage) are done by me- I've asked them not to be distributed and so if you see one somewhere, please ask 'em to take them down. ;) (The exception would be The Razor's Edge site, I gave him permission to use a few.) I have this one of Chance, an equivalent one of Jake, two of Razor, one of T-Bone, and a few others. Anyway. Just clearin' that up. ;) Sorry if I sounded like a harpy! Callie 2, 3, 4, and 53. These are actually sectioned parts of one large drawing, which is in fact found on several sites, and has been around for a while- one of them is edo's, in the "drawings" section or someplace like that- there are several dozen other images like that- most of them are the same drawings as were on the model sheets, only of the poor quality. I'm going to omit these from my site because I've seen them in so many places. (Rauhnee, one of those ought to look familiar to you, Callie in a chair with the glasses and that look on her face- I believe there's a "modified" version of it on your art page.) Oh, BTW- that drawing of Molly Metallikat on your page (with fur and nothing else) was done by Ashryn (pfitzi@msn.fullfeed.com). skmolly.gif is just a black and white version of a page from that promo book found on edo's site (and before that, on Matt Weber's site.) I think that the color, larger version is a better quality, so I may not put this one on my site either. Ulysses04.jpg is also just a page from previously noted promo book- but since I think the page I have of his isn't in color (I don't think) I'll pop this one on up. ;) panton.gif I have also seen before- but not for a while (dunno where it is now) so I'll stick this one up. ;) But otherwise I think that these are great! Do you have any idea where I could find the other 40-odd that you didn't send to me? Thanks so much for sending, though! They really are great! I'm going to upload these as soon as I have the directory page ready- I've got to go someplace in about an hour and won't have time to upload them, but they'll definitely be up by tomorrow morning. Okay, maybe if they DO bring in a super chunk of the SKs (they might, they have already succumbed to us ((espesialy if you post on the SK message boards for Cartoon Network on AOL)) more than once due to the nurmerous posts of SK fans on AOL about superchunks and all that) you could tape the episodes. I did that and i have all the episodes i liked (being the second season because i like the animation better) and i can watch it over and over whenever i like. Maybe that could be an alternative. Plus if you tape it yourself the scedualing is better (heheh, watch it whenever you like and you can fast forward the commertials) and it wont get canceled (unless you have the misfortune of taping over an episode). Maybe thats a suggestion. WiLdFiRe http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Bay/7003/index.html ----------------------------------------------------------------------- This list is sponsored by PEAK,Inc. Maybe thats a suggestion. *sigh* Unfortunately, there are still us souls that don't get CN and FINALLY got tbs as a 'non premium' cable channel (i.e. unscrambled) too late (i.e. well after tbs decided that Family Matters and Saved by the Bell were the only shows worth airing...oh, GREAT timing!!!!!). I'd love the chance to tape all of the eps, heck, I've not even SEEN all of the eps! Ok, there you have it. A few (you know who you are ) have commented that they were surprised to hear that I was back on the SK list, 'cause I'd been so quiet. Ya happy now, guys? Hmm...maybe my big "I'm here!" message shoulda been less of a complaint, huh? . Erin (who DOES have some eps on tape...and is quite happy for that, so I'm really not complaining, just babbling...I do that sometimes...budgets can get to you...am I rambling? Maybe...hmmm, yep, I am. I'll shut up and go back to lurking now) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- This list is sponsored by PEAK,Inc. And hey, I get lotsa questions from furs and people, about PhotoShop. how their VCR works and really really dumb people who bought a PC (I work at an ISP helpdesk fur 2 years now) wich dont know the location of the any key on the keyboard and are suprised the CDrom player is no cofeemugholder (no kidding, they exist) so I can handle you. (grins ducks and roll) I am absolutely sure you know a lot more on other topics than me. Everyone got his or her specialities. And it happens computers are mine so I gotta live with that ;) Anyways, if you got some questions, ask them. I reply them all.
