One would think his magic would make him more formidable... But, he never quite came across as vicious as Dark Kat or Viper to me... Who says their dead? Excellent fanfic fodder for something I'm working on. Anyone else got an idea where they went to?< My personal theory is that... Well, if a powerful electric surge hitting the good SK's jet, sent them to another universe, what would the surge caused in the explosion do to the Dark SK's dimensional radar? Knock them into the good SK's universe, of course... maybe even with a time alteration... Yes, it's a fanfic idea of mine that grows horribly long and convoluted from that point on, eventually including aliens and much madness. Maybe the computer's swallowing the story twice was an attempt to save me from myself... Remember how the show took the time to show us both sets of SWAT Kats' different styles of entering Puma-Dyne? The Dark SK's went out of their way to cause a little mayhem and beat up the guards... So, they don't think *exactly* like the good guys... and dare they assume T-Bone and Razor are just terminally goodie-goodie and incapable of fighting dirty... they just might get proven wrong. Still, they have an edge no other villain has... What more could you ask for? ;) In terms of being kid-friendly or more older-themed setups, I'd say get someone LIKE Todd McFarlane in on the animation, get the old writers for the scripts, the old voices plus new ones for new chars here and there, some input from us, the fans, be cautious, yet raucous in the choice of music-types(as that will have an effect on the young adult crowd. Hey'ya list... just something that I realised the other day... Dark Kat, in many ways, resembles Fantastic Four's deadliest enemy: Baron Victor Von Doom. Of course, it may just be a 'type' character, both of them. An evil genius, large in stature, aloof in manners, with "upper class" drawn in every line... quite possibly the most dangerous of foes. (Yes..I used the word 'foes'..) I suppose if you continue in the "Fantastic Four" references, then Razor would be counterpart to Reed Richards [Mr. Fantastic] (inventor, hero, a leader who is quiet and unassuming mostly..he also has brown hair. ^_^;). T-bone takes on aspects of both Ben Grimm (The Thing) and Johnny Storm (The Human Torch) - Grimmy is large and in charge and in general relies solely on his strength to get the job done (though both T-Bone and the Thing are intelligent and don't rely on brute force for everything). T-Bone is also hot-tempered and attractive (like The Human Torch. ^_^;;) - they both also fly. If T-bone takes on the aspects of two characters, the aspects of Susan Storm Richards (The Invisible Woman) are divied up between two female characters in the show: Felina Feral and Callie Briggs. -> Callie gets the blonde good looks, quite obviously, along with her spunk and leadership abilities. -> Felina gets her strength, her fighting abilities, and more of her attitude. :D If I'd bought more than the last four or five books in the series, I'd probably be better able to support my theories and perhaps even draw parrallels between other characters. But I'm new to the series. ;D Any support/dissertion/comments/theories of parallels between SK's and something else? :D ~Klawz klawz_hangar@hotmail.com http://www.fortunecity.com/victorian/tiffany/134/index1.html ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com _______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________ Message: 4 Date: Sat, 05 Feb 2000 22:58:39 GMT From: "Jake Bridges" Subject: RE: Chemical co Propene Chem.? How is it? I haven't used it much. I'm in Colorado now, since I came to the States a week and a half ago. I'm glad to be here. I hope I don't offend you, but remember that Feral conteversy last summer? I felt that the others were being intolerant of my views and opinion. I still think with 100% of my mind and heart that Feral should be fired! Taking glory for what our heroes have done! Feral has absolutely no business being commander if he's going to fire enforcers who do their job, even if he doesn't do it himself. I won't deny that he worked hard for his position and that he himself was able to beat some criminals on his own. But he's spoiled! If he has a cocky attitude, his enforcers will want to leave him and not work for him. Do you understand? If he were a real commander, instead of keeping it to himself, he would let everyone know that he likes the SWAT Kats helping him and still stay a great commander. He could fight with them on their side and the city would still be able to kick tail! You know that the villains never give up in trying to get what they want. Feral is a coward and an idiot. I'm saying this because the fight on the list about Uly still bugs me unrelentlessly and I want to let a good friend know how I feel about him. I hope you understand that. Because you are a good friend to me. Please understand me and not get mad. Hello all! I'm writing this to inform all of you about my newly created message board. I created it to be a place to discuss controversies, as well as to be a place to talk about fictions, art, sites, RPGs, etc in a frank and honest manner. It's not moderated, but I will ban posters who flame. As of right now there are the beginnings of an argument over whether or not there is an exclusion principle among katfans. My feeling is that any katfan who has an interest in reasoned discussion, has something on his or her chest, or just wants to see what others really think of something, then they should check it out and please post! I welcome new topics and any and all posters. Thanks all! Here's the addie: members.boardhost.com/sk_barbara (my yahoo name ^_^). The new service provides faster email delivery and easier-to-use Web features. A few months ago, ONElist merged with eGroups to create the leading free email group service. Since then, we've been busy integrating the two services, and along the way we've received valuable feedback from you. Above everything, you asked us to focus on performance, reliability and ease-of-use. We listened. The integrated service is available today for ONElist members, and will be rolled out to eGroups members in the next 60 days. It features dozens of enhancements to make managing your groups even easier. Major improvements include faster performance, new message archive, privacy controls, and other new features like real-time chat. Best of all, it is absolutely free to you and your members. We invite you to check out the new service now at: http://www.ONElist.com ====================================================================== How do I access my groups? ====================================================================== You can access your groups today at the ONElist.com address. Plus, in the next 60 days, you will also be able to access your groups by going to eGroups.com. We'll notify you when you can use your new eGroups URL. Important: we encourage you to use the eGroups URL when it's available in 60 days. However, be assured that you and your members will ALWAYS be able to access your groups by using ONElist URLs and email addresses. You don't need to move your groups to the eGroups site: we'll take care of this for you. 60 days from now, apart from the new eGroups URL, no other changes will affect your members. ====================================================================== New features! ====================================================================== In designing the improved service, we took the best of eGroups and ONElist. For a complete list of features, visit: http://www.ONElist.com/local/news.html Here are a few highlights: - FASTER PERFORMANCE AND MORE STORAGE SPACE The improved site is now faster and more responsive. Plus, your groups now have 20MB of file sharing space, compared with 5MB on the old ONElist service. - IMPROVED MESSAGE ARCHIVES Now you can browse, view, and search for individual email messages (and not just the 25 at-a-time digests stored at the old ONElist service). If you're familiar with message boards on other sites, then you're bound to like our new design. Note: it may take a week or two for some groups to get the new Message Archive feature. - CHAT Another great way to communicate, chat lets you meet in real time with members of your group. Every group now has a private chatroom. - CUSTOMIZEABLE SETTINGS Now you can customize all the features available to your group. Every feature can be switched on and off. Want that new chat room? Click it on! - MORE CATEGORIES We've partnered with the Open Directory Project to provide thousands of categories for your group. Now you'll be able to find a category that accurately describes your group. We encourage you to update your listing: just go to the Settings page of your group. - GROUP DATABASE Now you can create custom, searchable tables of information for your group. Need a contact list for members of your soccer club? How about a list of songs and artists for CD collectors? It's easy, just start with one of our existing templates, or customize your own design. ====================================================================== We want to hear from you ====================================================================== We hope you like the improvements we've made. As always, we welcome your suggestions and ideas. Send your feedback to: suggestion@corp.onelist.com. Thanks for making ONElist/eGroups the leading free email group service! It's been around for a while. It was originally set up to take over the files that were on the now-defunct rat.org SK directory. I'm trying to remember where the guy was from - someplace in the middle east, I think. It went up and down for a while, it disappeared a while back. I didn't know that it was back up- I just tried to visit it and it tells me that there are "files invalid for transfer" or something. It seems to be some sort of SWAT Kats/Quake crossover, from what little I can see before they reroute me. ~Strike www.whitestorm.com "I was known as the chief grave robber of my state." --Dan Quayle _______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________ From - Sat Jul 08 20:05:36 2000 Return-Path: Received: from h8.mail.home.com ([24.0.95.50]) by mail.rdc1.wa.home.com (InterMail v4.01.01.00 201-229-111) with ESMTP id <20000221110055.ICEZ14903.mail.rdc1.wa.home.com@h8.mail.home.com> for ; Mon, 21 Feb 2000 03:00:55 -0800 Received: from mx5-rwc.mail.home.com (mx5-rwc.mail.home.com [24.0.95.34]) by h8.mail.home.com (8.9.3/8.9.0) with ESMTP id DAA01101 for ; Mon, 21 Feb 2000 03:00:55 -0800 (PST) Received: from hl.egroups.com (hl.egroups.com [208.48.218.14]) by mx5-rwc.mail.home.com (8.9.1/8.9.1) with SMTP id DAA17675 for ; Mon, 21 Feb 2000 03:00:40 -0800 (PST) X-eGroups-Return: sentto-160503-151-gatekat=home.com@returns.onelist.com Received: from [10.1.10.36] by hl.egroups.com with NNFMP; 21 Feb 2000 11:00:04 -0000 MIME-Version: 1.0 Message-ID: <951130804.30372@onelist.com> Mailing-List: list SWATKats_Canon@onelist.com; contact SWATKats_Canon-owner@onelist.com Delivered-To: mailing list SWATKats_Canon@onelist.com Precedence: bulk List-Unsubscribe: Date: 21 Feb 2000 11:00:04 -0000 From: SWATKats_Canon@onelist.com Reply-To: SWATKats_Canon@onelist.com To: SWATKats_Canon@onelist.com Subject: [SWATKats_Canon] Digest Number 151 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-transfer-encoding: 8bit X-Mozilla-Status: 8000 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get your money connected @ OnMoney.com - the first Web site that lets you see, consolidate, and manage all of your finances all in one place. http://click.egroups.com/1/1636/0/_/_/_/951130804/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ FAQ/ Rules: http://www.gatekat.net/Lists/SWATKats/Nexus.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------ There is 1 message in this issue. HELP ME!! I've been falsely accused by Geocities of having a site that is used as a "storage space for remote loading" or as a "gateway to another site." Any of you guys who saw it could tell it wasn't! That was my site!! And now they're taking it down! WORSE, they're going to DELETE MY YAHOO ACCOUNT! Does anyone know what I can do to protest, as they suspended the site so I have no proof and they can pretty much say anything they want to... Help me out here guys! Please? WHAT DO I DO? I've written back but I can't wait a week on that - a lot of the stuff on there was being used as a project for my HTML class! *bites claws nervously* Thanks for any help you can give. Simply save everything to your local disk and when they delete your accoun, simply reaply for a new one. I'd say you should complain at the local community manager or how that's called. Like what Casandro has already said, save the files that you currently have saved in the Geocities account. Put them in a storage folder on your computer, then sign up for another Geocities account. You MIGHT have to apply for another email address, since you need one to apply, and I doubt it'll accept a Yahoo! email addy. -Jake Bridges, Assistant Leader SWAT Kats: The Rogue Squadron RPG (http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Palette/8458/) (http://www.geocities.com/vw_samba/) ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com _______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________ Message: 4 Date: 28 Feb 00 20:32:50 CST From: Barbara Mooney Subject: Re: [Re: Can anybody out there help me?] I wouldn't be panicking if geocities would let me IN to my site to copy the files. ~Barbara ____________________________________________________________________ Get your own FREE, personal Netscape WebMail account today at http://webmail.netscape.com. _______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________ Message: 5 Date: Mon, 28 Feb 2000 20:53:56 CST From: "Klawz :\)" Subject: Re: Can anybody out there help me? Another thing you can do is get an account with xoom. They let you upload 500 mgs of anything you want (sharehouse.xoom.com). And you can make it private if you like. Of course, if you have a "real" xoom site you get unlimited space, which is also quite nice. ~Klawz klawz_hangar@hotmail.com http://www.fortunecity.com/victorian/tiffany/134/index1.html "You don't have to like me.
