I just discovered this list. Is this primarily for fanfic posting, or SK discussion, or can we role play here? I'm open for anything. However, i'd like a chance to get involve in an SK roleplay. Back before I came to college, wow, almost four years ago, i had created a character who lived in Megakat City. I never had a chance to play him however, because I couldn't get into IRC where a majority of the rp i knew about took place. then I came to college and got involved in other things. I'd love to finally have a chance to play my character, Trent. Trent was a normal citizen, just a young punk kat living his life. One day a group of huge mummies attacked the city (i forget the name of the episode). They were about to step on trent and end the kat's 9 lives when the Turbokat came in and toppled the mummy over. trent was grateful to the heroes, and vowed to one day repay them for saving his life. He began to devote his time to designing an exo-frame, a powered armor. the problem with this being, he needed money to buy the equipment and parts for this. He resorted to holdung up conveneince stores. He vowed that once his project was complete, he'd repay all the peole he borrowed from tenfold. Admirable, but still illegal. It became an obsession of his, and in that time he became a rather avid and notorious kat burglar. A year and a half later, it was finished. He took the designation of Rooster, and his Battlekat was operational. Now it was time to repay his debts to those he was most grateful for. Even if he has become a wanted criminal. So thats Trent. If anyone would like to start a role play with me, let me know. If we can't post it here, there is another SK group on egroups set for RP, one that seems to have beendead for quite some time. "Don't you _dare_." The tall, dark shekat growled softly. "Dinner can wait." She softened and pulled him close, catching a pungent nosefull of anger turned to despairing fear and tipped his chin up. "What happened?" "I'm sorry, Fel ..." He pulled away from her fingers and buried his face against her chest. The tears he'd kept back for nearly three hours finally escaped his control. "I'm so sorry ...." She held him, doing her best to hold back the urge to interrogate the truth out of him, at least until he stopped sobbing. She wasn't very sure which disturbed her more; that he _was_ crying, or that he'd encountered something that could cause him to. ***** ================ ***** Felina Feral lay in her bed; too disturbed to sleep, too concerned for the sleeping tom curled against her side to dare move, much less get up. It had taken far too long to coax him to settle down to risk disturbing him. Her mind drifted through possibilities, and just as quickly discarded them. Perhaps he'd broken the law and was afraid of how she'd take it -- but she was sure she would have heard about it already, and pretty sure he knew it wouldn't matter _that_ much to her. It could have been an accident. His anger _had_ turned to disturbed fear. But again, she should have heard about it. There was no way her 'friends' at HQ wouldn't jump at the opportunity to point out that her choice in lovers was less than desirable, again. An affair? A fling she hadn't agreed to? Surely he knew she wouldn't be _that_ angry. Not after all the squirming he did trying to tell her about him sleeping with Chance. Or maybe it was that ... or at least something about Chance. The tabby _was_ one of the centerpoints of Jake's life. She'd heard them argue about the tabby's dating habits before. Not that she could ever make much sense of the two tom's relationship, but it would hardly be the first time Chance had hurt Jake deeply, intentionally or not. And of course, there were always the other aspects to the toms' relationship -- being business partners, seeing each other nearly 24/7, having to work together under the shadow of the past, being the SWAT Kats and all that implied. Despite extreme curiosity, she wasn't so sure she wanted to know how Jake did it. How the SWAT Kats equipment came about. A slight shifting of the body of lean muscle next to her caught Felina's attention and she looked down to meet distressed amber eyes. "Mind telling me what that was all about?" "I'd rather not." He murmured, then took a deep breath and inched away from her. "But I'm going to have too." Felina narrowed her eyes at his resigned tone and pulled him against her, fur on fur. She caressed his back, kneading hard muscles that were even more tense than usual. She smiled as he relaxed fractionally, almost against his will. "It can't be as bad as you think." Jake closed his eyes and drew a deep breath before speaking, his voice nearly dead. "I can't see you any more." "What?" Felina froze completely. "_*Why*_?" "Felina. I care for you ... too much." He bit his lip and met wide brown eyes. "I ... I'm to the point I'm not willing to keep secrets from you." He dropped his head to avoid her searching gaze. "But my biggest secret isn't just mine. And my ... partner ... refused to agree to me telling you." "You're biggest secret?" Felina's brain raced, plotting at a speed that would make her Uncle proud. She cocked her head and asked gently. She kissed him tenderly. "Between Chance's flying style and your gift for building things, plus the timing of when you missed a date, and a few other things." "I get it." If your site is already gone, you may be able to retrieve lost pages from Google's cache, go to Google and search for your site and then click on the Cache link. A lot of the internet is United States based, and even the stuff that is not usually has big connections to the US. A little history lesson, some thing that many forget, before Bill Clinton entered office, people all over were trying to kill the pornography industry's expansion on the internet. I think that by the end of the 80s and early 90s, the general belief was the internet pornography was dead or on it's last legs. Of course, then Clinton came along and literally almost __ALL__ pornography related lawsuit just stopped dead. Of course, not everything stopped, it was just a lot looser. With parody materials, there has always been lawsuits and site-massacres since they view us as stealing characters. But hitting on pornography in general as only really started up again in the last few months. Take Sexshare for instance, they not only outlawed all parody cartoons, they outlawed ANY pornographic cartoons (that includes any and all types of Hentai/echi/anime). I must say that I a little worried about what the future holds for this. Though I must admit that some of the things they are trying to outlaw seem more than justified. Nothing really that affects us, but one that I something that has been long over due is child pornography. People are sexually and physicaly abusing small children to make their child porn and money off it. Sheya gave the best advice of playing with the program. Look in the distort and noise menus of the SFX menu if you want for something to make it look a bit more like fur texture. For instance, I recently worked on a picture for a friend, lots of terrycloth it looked weird just colored and air brushed so I used crystalised and while it looked a bit off (colors pulled away from the edges) at least it looked like terrycloth. Yes, experimentation with the program is a definate must, but there are also lots and lots of good tutorials out there online, that have step by step instructions on how to use the program. Several are very helpful in coloring and others are usefully for just doing cool stuff with the program. Do a search in an engine for something like "Photoshop Tutorials" you might have to pic through a few options but you can find some nice ones.
