I've known for quite some time that this part was going to suck to write (one of the reasons it's ballooned from two linked episodes into four) but hoooooooo boy ... this was a little tougher even than I expected. This carries a big, huge, capital-red-and-black-letters rape warning on it. If you want to avoid that but still catch the important stuff from the other thread, I suggest you read only the final section. It conveniently starts at the top of page 5 with "Talia looked around her." Things are looking up for Talia, as she and Jake pool their knowledge to make a breakthrough. Pity others can't say the same. While I may one day support this, it is definitely not on the list of things you can do on this revamp -- same with CGI and Perl Scripts. Either the server I'm on won't accept it, or I don't want to learn about it just now to support it. I have however seen Flash pages -- and I gotta agree with you that they are very pretty. Interesting ... I wouldn't think that there was that much difference between a series and a novel split to chapters. I suppose a novel has to be a lot more coherent as a piece of writing, but you will have noticed that I prefer episodes of my series to be fairly entwined anyway. Well, yes. He's only a sadistic, power-hungry, murdering rapist to be nice about it. > oh well, now you've got me wondering how it's going to turn out. The main reason Uly can be redeemed is that he's being manipulated more than he manipulates others. He's sort of the apprentice, not the master. He is *not* happy to find this out. > Interesting ... I wouldn't think that there was that much difference between a series and a novel split to chapters. Sometimes, but mostly it's the mindset that I hate. That series are somehow inferior to a novel because they are released a bit at a time and are labeled as separate stories. > I suppose a novel has to be a lot more coherent as a piece of writing, Good series, good novel are pretty comparable in coherency to me, as are bad series and bad novels. -- Rauhnee Ranshanka; The GateKat, http://www.gatekat.net/index.html Listmom FurLONG and The SWAT Kats: Canon, Adult and FanFic Keeper of The MegaKat City BlackNet: The SWAT Kats FanFic Archive Keeper of The GateKat's Galleries: Rare FanArt and GayFur ***************************************************************** ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ From - Sat Jul 08 19:59:13 2000 Return-Path: Received: from h2.mail.home.com ([24.2.2.28]) by mail.rdc1.wa.home.com (InterMail vM.4.01.02.00 201-229-116) with ESMTP id <20000627104436.DVNC10161.mail.rdc1.wa.home.com@h2.mail.home.com> for ; Tue, 27 Jun 2000 03:44:36 -0700 Received: from mx1-e.mail.home.com (mx1-e.mail.home.com [24.2.2.29]) by h2.mail.home.com (8.9.3/8.9.0) with ESMTP id DAA11602 for ; Tue, 27 Jun 2000 03:43:02 -0700 (PDT) Received: from ho.egroups.com (ho.egroups.com [208.50.144.85]) by mx1-e.mail.home.com (8.9.1/8.9.1) with SMTP id DAA02071 for ; Tue, 27 Jun 2000 03:42:39 -0700 (PDT) X-eGroups-Return: sentto-160502-251-962100526-gatekat=home.com@returns.onelist.com Received: from [10.1.10.39] by ho.egroups.com with NNFMP; 27 Jun 2000 10:08:46 -0000 MIME-Version: 1.0 Message-ID: <962100526.21248@egroups.com> Mailing-List: list SWATKats_Adult@egroups.com; contact SWATKats_Adult-owner@egroups.com Delivered-To: mailing list SWATKats_Adult@egroups.com Precedence: bulk List-Unsubscribe: Date: 27 Jun 2000 10:08:46 -0000 From: SWATKats_Adult@egroups.com Reply-To: SWATKats_Adult@egroups.com To: SWATKats_Adult@egroups.com Subject: [SWATKats_Adult] Digest Number 251 Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Mozilla-Status: 8000 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I wonder if Eddie will be pissed? http://click.egroups.com/1/6000/0/_/450810/_/962100526/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ FAQ/ Rules: http://www.gatekat.net/Lists/SWATKats/index.html MKC BlackNet: http://www.swatkats.org/index.html The Galleries: http://www.gatekat.net/Galleries/index.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------ There is 1 message in this issue. "El Gato De La Noche" in English: Sure, I provide an English version no problem. You want a literal or poetic translation of it? I really can't decide myself. :) It won't be hard, though. My SK Challenge: I guess it could fall under both Adult and Regular, as it's a Christmas story I'm going for (the challenge to be held in July to go with the saying "Christmas in July"). It could be very adult and kinky (sounds good!) or a simply, heartful Christmas story. I started writting mine in the latter style, but whatever anyone wants to write is cool with me. :) Also, to everyone who cares, I took the eyes off my page. Now it's just a black BG with no animated things (other than the things at the bottom, most of which are from the BN main page). See here: http://www.crosswinds.net/~kennyk/Blacknet/Main11.htm I did keep the stars, though. I like them. And as for the Het link, I'll need one to put in (that is if Rauhnee choses to use my page design, and I'd ***LOVE*** to re-design the BN, following any specifications she may have, of course.) I can do frames, too, and other little trinkits, if that's any concelation. :) It'll also give something more to do this summer than just work, and I've got lost of time. Another submission: I'm gonna submit another story to the Adult section. I just need to put it in HTML format. That'll take me a few seconds. :) I'll submit it as soon as I can. Well, I guess that's all for now. One more thing: Thank you, Rauhnee. I'm sure you know what for. I'm very appriciative. :) - Kenny K ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ From - Sat Jul 08 19:59:13 2000 Return-Path: Received: from h7.mail.home.com ([24.0.95.42]) by mail.rdc1.wa.home.com (InterMail vM.4.01.03.00 201-229-121) with ESMTP id <20000628161407.UXOW5585.mail.rdc1.wa.home.com@h7.mail.home.com> for ; Wed, 28 Jun 2000 09:14:07 -0700 Received: from mx6-rwc.mail.home.com (mx6-rwc.mail.home.com [24.0.95.35]) by h7.mail.home.com (8.9.3/8.9.0) with ESMTP id JAA16057 for ; Wed, 28 Jun 2000 09:14:33 -0700 (PDT) Received: from hm.egroups.com (hm.egroups.com [208.50.144.92]) by mx6-rwc.mail.home.com (8.9.1/8.9.1) with SMTP id IAA19432 for ; Wed, 28 Jun 2000 08:15:09 -0700 (PDT) X-eGroups-Return: sentto-160502-252-962204934-gatekat=home.com@returns.onelist.com Received: from [10.1.10.39] by hm.egroups.com with NNFMP; 28 Jun 2000 15:08:53 -0000 MIME-Version: 1.0 Message-ID: <962204934.12904@egroups.com> Mailing-List: list SWATKats_Adult@egroups.com; contact SWATKats_Adult-owner@egroups.com Delivered-To: mailing list SWATKats_Adult@egroups.com Precedence: bulk List-Unsubscribe: Date: 28 Jun 2000 15:08:54 -0000 From: SWATKats_Adult@egroups.com Reply-To: SWATKats_Adult@egroups.com To: SWATKats_Adult@egroups.com Subject: [SWATKats_Adult] Digest Number 252 Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Mozilla-Status: 0000 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Free Worldwide Calling with Firetalk!
